Hypnosis is a treatment option that can help you achieve success with particular challenges you may face. Hypnosis can be a very effective method for changing, or gaining control of undesired behaviors, help you better cope with insomnia, anxiety or pain, or help you to enhance your performance in a sport or activity.
Your certified therapist will explain the process of hypnosis and review your treatment goals upon arrival.
Then your hypnotist will gently guide you into a deep state of relaxation (sometimes referred to as a trance-like state) where you will feel a sense of calm and security. While you’re in this state, you are fully awake and conscious of your surroundings, as well as in complete control, but you become so relaxed that your mind is more open and receptive to suggestion. Your Hypnotist will typically use a guided visual process (similar to a guided meditation) adding repetitive verbal cues and suggestions designed to help you change or improve upon any given issue, or situation.
