Making your own Sacred Geometry is healing, creative, and rewarding and can be produced with a few simple and inexpensive tools. Some you may already have on hand.
You will need:
Find the center point of your paper by taking the measurements of your paper (first horizontally, then vertically). Divide each of these measurements in half. Using this number, measure out a couple points across the paper horizontally and draw a line through the center of your paper from one end of the paper to the other. Repeat this step to divide the paper vertically. (as shown in diagram 1)
Example: an 8 1/2"x11" piece of paper would be 4 1/4" across in one direction and 5 1/2" across in the other direction (see diagram 1). Follow these steps below:
You have just created your own Sacred Geometry-This is called the Seed of Life and you can use this as a foundation for all of your Sacred Geometry drawings. Now you can explore making your own marks with your ruler, compass, or both. Just make sure whatever you do, your drawing is symmetrical.
When creating any art, always keep in mind that it's not about the end result, it's about the process and journey.
